The Gingernut

When I first developed anxiety, I really struggled. It got to the point that I was unable to leave the house and even eating became difficult. I started having gingernut biscuits as they were something plain that I could eat, but the biscuits became much more than that. They became something I could rely on and I felt that they helped me to get up and live my life. When I told this story to people, many of them had stories of a similar beacon of positivity in their lives. I created this animation to show how, when dealing with mental health, something simple can have such a positive impact.
